I don’t even want to go to Santa Monica anymore. I don’t have a ride.  The sole reason why I wanted to go was to give someone that meant too much to me this poorly wrapped gift I bought them months before that I promised to give them tomorrow. But now, this person doesn’t even want to give me the time of day. So what’s the point? I just don’t understand how someone that meant so much to you is just now someone you pretend to not know. “Just friends”, you said. It’s not even that anymore.
