So, I guess my hopes in getting contacts are down the drain. My vision is so bad that the contacts would be $300 a month -___- “Its expensive..but ok, lets do it”, she told the doctor.

Then in the car we had a talk about them, “I dont want you being mad at me/I want you to have contacts”, she said. Then I guess I convinced to her cancel my contacts.

Mom, i appreciate it, but I cant let you do that. Yeah, i WANT contacts too, but i dont NEED them. They would be nice, but im perfectly fine with my glasses.

I dont want my mom to have to spend spend spend just so I can be satisfied, not in these hard times when its already difficult to pay the bills. I love my mom for everything she does for me, and i regret that i don’t show it.

I guess there is always going to be that struggle of Want Vs. Need, but in the end I know whats going to be the right decision.
